The British and Irish Lions win series

The British and Irish Lions won their first series since 1997 after smashing the Wallabies 41-16 victory in Sydney.

With the series on a knife edge, one team needed to turn on a performance of a lifetime.  The Lions were that team.

Man of the Series, Leigh Halfpenny set up two tries and kicked brilliantly together with outstanding performances by Jamie Roberts, George North and the whole forward pack.

They were the deserved winners and I say congratulations to the team and their supporters.  This was an amazing series and I can’t wait for the next one in 12 years.
