Matt Giteau

Unceremoniously dumped from the Wallabies 2011 RWC squad last year, Giteau left Australian rugby and is now plying his trade for French Top 14 side Toulon.  During his career he has won two Super Rugby titles with the Brumbies in 2001 and 2004 and was part of the 2003 Wallabies RWC squad that was narrowly beaten by England in the final.  Most recently with the current demise of the Wallabies on-field display, there has been a call amongst fans for Robbie Deans to bring back Giteau into the side.  Celebrating his 30th Birthday just a few days ago, I thought it only fair to award him the Player of the Week award.
