Adam Freier

After the Rebels upset the Crusaders on Saturday night I thought it only fair that this week’s Player of the Week hail from Melbourne.  One of the club favourites, Adam Freier, made his Super Rugby debut back in 2000 for the Brumbies before moving to the Waratahs where he became their most-capped Hooker.  After moving to Melbourne for the 2011 season, injuries kept him sidelined until the final 3 rounds of the season, he is now only 1 game away from the milestone of 100 caps in Super Rugby.  Adam also writes a regular column for the Sydney Morning Herald.
