The All Blacks are the 2011 Rugby World Cup Champions after defeating France in a nail-biting 8-7 thriller at Eden Park on Sunday.
A completely different looking French side turned up to the final and pushed the All Blacks until the dying moments.
The French were impressive right from the advance on the Haka until the final whistle and were, in my opinion, very unlucky to not come away with the cup.
Having lost Dan Carter and Mils Muliaina earlier in the tournament, New Zealand finished the game with their fourth-choice no 10, Stephen Donald, after Aaron Cruden joined the list of injured.
After 24 years without the Cup, New Zealanders will celebrate this victory for quite some time.
